Badger sessions
We've finished recording 3 brand new tracks with Tim Waterfield this weekend and we're all chuffed with how they sound so far, think you're all gonna dig the end results :-)
The tracks we recorded were Neo-Tokyo, Honey badger and Soundtrack your death
We've also just finally put in our merch order so should have a batch of lovely badger tshirts and stickers very soon so keep an eye out for them at future shows!
speaking of which our next show is Friday the 31st for Creative Block(s) with Monsters build mean robots and Chrik, Do come along x

MBMR tour

busy times :-)
we've been a bit slack on the blog front, all sorts of madness has gone on including me nearly killin myself on a cliff slope in the derbyshire peaks like a twat but escaping with no broken bones :-) been pretty sore for the past week but life goes on, Ash has been visitin mates in Scotland while Todd and I partied at Treefest. back to captain business tho and it's all go...

tomorrow night (21st) we play big blue in Derby with Belfast noiseniks NOT SQUARES + My Psychoanalyst & Tabar
Wednesday we're in back in the lockup then Thursday is the KONG gig @ the Chameleon in Nottingham, Also on the lineup are My psychoanalyst & Chickenhawk, it's our first Notts gig in ages so do come along :-)
Friday we play the Voodoo Lounge in Stamford which should be ace as we've not been before :-)
then bright and early on saturday and sunday we start recording some of our new songs with Tim Waterfield which should be boss!

whats new????
We have a load of awesome shows coming up over summer which we're all very excited about.
21st July @ BIG BLUE, DERBY w/ NOT SQUARES (Richter Collective)
24th july
24th July @ THE VOODOO LOUNGE, STAMFORD w/ HENDO SANS PROJECT
Then on the 25th July we start recording 3 brand new songs with the amazing Tim Waterfield which we can't wait to get started on.
31st July we're playing with our good buddies Monsters build mean robots and Chrik for Creative blocks, I'm also playing guitar for them on this tour so will be joining them on the road for a week which should be fun.
Then it's back to Captain business on 6th August with SHAPES and BRONTIDE @ The Chameleon
18th aug we play the Blakfish album launch @ SEVEN w/ MUTINY ON THE BOUNTY
and then we're off to Ireland again on the 19th for 6 days with Double handsome dragons taking in Belfast, Derry, Dublin so far and a few more still to be confirmed
Busy times, just the way we like it :-)
on a closing note i just got sent a random email in work...
"The most unfair thing about life is the way it ends. I mean, life is tough. It takes up a lot of your time. What do you get at the end of it? A Death! What’s that, a bonus? I think the life cycle is all backwards. You should die first, get it out of the way. Then you live in an old age home. You get kicked out when you’re too young, you get a gold watch, you go to work. You work forty years until you’re young enough to enjoy your retirement. You do drugs, alcohol, you party, you get ready for high school. You go to grade school, you become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities, you become a little baby, you go back into the womb, you spend your last nine months floating …and you finish off as an orgasm."
